Reels Download ("we", "our") is a free web tool for downloading public social media content for personal use. This policy explains what information is handled when you use our website.

1. Information you provide

You paste public post links into the downloader. These links are processed in real time to fetch the requested media and are not stored on our servers. We never ask for your Instagram or Facebook username or password.

2. Automatically collected data

Like most websites, our server briefly processes standard technical data needed to operate the service and prevent abuse: IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. This data is used for rate limiting (fair use), security, and aggregated diagnostics, and is not sold or shared for marketing.

3. Cookies

Reels Download itself sets no tracking cookies. However, third-party vendors — including Google — use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies will not break the downloader.

4. Advertising partners

We may display ads served by Google AdSense and other vendors. These vendors may use cookies and similar technologies to measure ad performance. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies. Our ads.txt file lists our authorized digital sellers.

5. Data retention

Downloaded media passes through our server's temporary memory/disk only for the duration of your request and is deleted immediately afterwards. Server logs used for security are rotated regularly.

6. Children's privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
