1. Privacy is the point of private accounts
People choose private accounts and Close Friends lists to control exactly who sees their content. Any tool that bypassed that choice would be a surveillance tool, not a downloader. We refuse to build that — and you should be suspicious of any site that claims to.
2. Your credentials stay yours
Fetching private content would require your Instagram login, which means handing your password to a third party. That is how accounts get stolen. Our service never asks for credentials, which is only possible because we never touch anything but public posts.
3. Copyright and platform rules
