Get more out of every download:
- Copy links from the Share menu rather than typing them — one wrong character in a shortcode breaks the lookup.
- Files arrive named creator_post-id (e.g. nasa_CvvVKrMNE1T.mp4). Keep the names: six months later you will still know the source.
- Need just the sound? Use the Audio tab instead of downloading video you will delete.
- On iPhone, files land in Files → Downloads; move keepers to Photos with one long-press to back them up to iCloud.
Reels vs. regular video posts
Technically, Reels and feed videos live in the same system — a Reel link (/reel/) and a post link (/p/) resolve through identical machinery.
